Who is it for?

Mental training is for any athlete playing at any level (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced or elite) and participating in any sport.

What is the process of individual sports counseling?

Your first taster session will give you an insight about mental training and what it includes. You will then start your program and start working on your mental toughness.

How will it help me?

It will help you become confident, manage pressure, focus and concentrate, manage emotions, among many other benefits.

How many sessions do I need?

You will need a minimum of 6 to 12 sessions to understand the effectiveness of mental training. However like any other form of training, mental training is a continuous process.

How do I book?

You can begin by booking your individual taster session. After the session, our sport psychologist will guide you towards the next step according to your background and psychological needs.

How can the Successful Sports Coaching program support me in my development as a coach?

The program is especially designed for coaches who are seeking avenues to holistically develop themselves at an active pace. Counselling with our sport psychologists is aimed at enhancing the psychological understanding of sport by introducing coaches to multiple mental dimensions such as the coach-athlete relationship.

What will I be expected to do in the program?

At the onset of the program, your aim will be to discuss your coaching goal with our sport psychologist so that we can collaboratively pave a path for your successful coaching journey. Along the way, you will be encouraged to interact with us to learn and apply various psychological aspects in sport.

How is the program conducted?

The program is conducted in-person in our offices at Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore or virtually via an online video platform. The content is delivered using interactive media such as videos and presentations, and includes psychological techniques that you can implement in real world coaching scenarios.

How can the Positive Sports Parenting program support us as sport parents?

From the beginning of an athlete’s sport journey, parents play a vital and constant role in nurturing the child’s love and interest for playing a sport. As the athlete grows physically and mentally, their psychological needs vary, and the sport also starts demanding that they learn various mental skills such as confidence, focus and patience. This program will guide you to understand the varying psychological needs of your child and create a healthy and open athlete-parent relationship.

Your first taster session will give you an insight about sport psychology and the role of parents. You will then start your program and chart a course towards positive sports parenting.

What will we be expected to do in the program?

At the onset of the program, your aim will be to discuss your and your child-athlete’s backgrounds with our sport psychologist so that we can collaboratively build a positive parenting plan. Along the way, you will be encouraged to interact with us to understand ways in which you can have a positive and motivating influence on your child-athlete.
